First Google Doodle

Google’s famous homepage “Doodles” (the changing Google logo graphics) are well known and enjoyed by millions around the world as a way to mark an event or anniversary. But did you know that the very first Google Doodle was designed as a kind of “out of office” message?

In 1998 Brin and Page took the weekend off to go the Burning Man festival in Nevada. The Burning Man doodle (shown above), was designed by the Google guys and added to the homepage to let their users know they were out of office and couldn’t fix technical issues like a server crash.

Check Antivirus Strength

Most of us think of best antivirus. But sometime the assumed best antiviruses do not work accordingly. And now it become our duty to check the strength of the antivirus to make sure that our antivirus program is powerful and working well. The test that I am going to tell  you is know as  EICAR test which can be used to test any antivirus and was developed by European Institute of Computer Antivirus Research (EICAR). If your antivirus quickly detects and deletes it, then your antivirus is working well.

Step:

1. First of all open a notepad and copy the following code into the notepad and save it as anything.com. (You can give any name but remember to give the extension of .com only)

Code:

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

Search Through Browsing History Easier in Chrome

Are you looking for an easier way to search through your browsing history? Then you may want to have a look at the History Calendar extension. History Calendar allows you to search and display entries by date using the floating calendar added to your History Page.

If you have a lot of history entries but can not remember the exact details about a website, then this great little extension lets you quickly narrow it down to the date you visited the site. From there you can quickly look through the entries for that day only to find what you are looking for.

Use the Notepad as your personal diary

I often wondered to make my own digital diary. There is a simple feature in Notepad that can make it work like a personal diary for us. Here is how to go about it:

1.Firstly open a blank Notepad file.
2. Now write .LOG as the first line in the file, then press enter. Now save the file and close it.
3.Open the notepad file now and you will find that the current date and time has been

appended (put) at the end and the cursor is in the next line.
4. Type your notes and then save and close the file.

5. Each time you open the file, Notepad repeats the process, that is it appends the date and time

to the end of the file and places the cursor below it.
